Use Clues to Solve an Ice Mystery

About This Lesson

Citing evidence from multiple media resources, as well as their own observations, students will match six different mystery ice types to the place where each would most likely be found. Recipes for creating six different simulated ice types are provided, along with audio and video interviews with scientists discussing how ice is formed. A PowerPoint file of images with melting point data is included if time or resource limitations prevent ice making.
