Microwaves bounce back and forth as, well, waves. Depending on the size of the wave, some spots are hot and some are cold. This is why most microwave ovens have turntables — the heat is more evenly spread out. How can Brian, Sierra and Mary show that this is what’s happening inside the microwave?
