About This Lesson

This is the third lesson of an 8 lesson unit. In this lesson, students explore models of fractions using a variety of fraction model tools. They use the tools to discover equivalent fractions. They find sums and differences of fractions by replacing given fractions with equivalent fractions. Aligned to Common Core State Standard: 5.NF.1
