About This Lesson

After modeling and discussing each item for figurative language, the students will be expected to follow the guidelines to create their own Figurative Language Book. The finished product will be used to assess the students' understanding. Common Core standards are attached to the rubric. Aligned with Common Core State Standards: L.4.5, L.4.5a, L.4.5b
