About This Lesson

This is the last installment of a seven lesson unit on statistics. The lesson begins with a review of measures that can be used to analyze sets of data (mean, median, maximum, etc). Following the review, students are presented with the idea of using box plots to compare sets of data. Lesson objective: Students will be able to compare numerical data using box plots. Aligned with Common Core State Standard: 6.SP.4
